Having tea with an octopus...
Iced tea, of corse, in the depths of the sea...
Makes you wonder what they do down there all day long...
In their octopus' garden...
In the depths...
Of the beautiful blue ocean...
So I thought in honor of the Beatles and their octopus...
That you'd enjoy a cuppa...
And some goodies with me and mine...

These friendly Octopi...
Being a sucker for all things nautical...
They're so cute...
Waving with multiple tentacles...
And playing hide and seek...
And peeping up from their bowls...
As they hang out...
In their own version of a garden...
Beneath the sea...
Would you care for a starfish cookie?
They're a wee bit crunchy...
And salty...
But the Octopi think they're swell...
No pun intended...
Well, maybe not much of one...
Or if starfish aren't on your diet...
Maybe some seaweed cakes...
Would be more to your liking...
Or would you prefer...
Just floating around in the deep?
That's always a good bet!
I think the sea is the most magical place on earth...
From the waves...
To the creatures...
To the colors...
To the caves...
It is a world...
I would love...
To explore...
More fully...
The water is my happy place...
And always has been...

Who has been adrift in the sea of life far, far too long!
I thought I would jump back into the blog waters today and join my friends Kathleen for The Farewell To Summer Tablescape Challenge HERE and Susan for Tablescape Thursday HERE.
But before I do let me just say I didn't plan to be gone this long, but I had LOTS going on here behind the scenes, like the busiest spring I have ever had (some tablescapes to share from that)...
And I was injured again, but thankfully I'm getting my sea legs under me...
And I have some fun news (a big surprise) and reports forthcoming in a future post, and this promises lots of girly pinks and such...
In the mean time, I will be happy to visit you. Thank you for your concern when I went MIA and for sending up the signal flares and radioing for the Coast Guard. It helped. :-)
