SURPRISE! SURPRISE! We Have A Winner! Come On Down!!!

It's... Beverly (How Sweet The Sound)!!!

Yes, Beverly, you are Queen for the Day! :-)

You did not win a refrigerator, but you did win the book, FLAIR by Joe Nye!

And just in case you think we only have one crowning, SURPRISE! SURPRISE!

We had to have a Miss Congeniality...

Better to be congenial than a runner-up, don't you think???

I bet she'll think so, too!

And Miss Congeniality would be JoAnn (Scene Through My Eyes)...

Come on down, JoAnn!

You are the winner of Wendy Sheppherd's  (of the blog Ivory Spring) new book on quilting!!!

Wendy is my girl!  Love her so much!  She is a world-class quilter and as beautiful (inside and out)...

As her quilts are...

And please note that this is not a paid advertisement.  Oh, no!   I am buying and having Wendy ship her book to you, JoAnn, so I will need your email address.  I will hop over to your blog and get it, and then I will be contacting you soon! And I will do the same for you, Beverly!  (Y'all know I had to switch emails due to some "issues")

Thank you to Mr. Magpie who did the drawing for me.  He reached his mitt into this fire bucket...

Where each of the names was placed on a ticket...

Which he scrambled around...

Whereupon he pulled one hot ticket and then the other!

Congratulations, Ladies!  I hope you enjoy your books! :-) :-)

Now, I think you know how much I wish I could give each of you other ladies a prize, and if I could, I would.  You are all winners to me and all deserving!

But since I could only afford two prizes, I want you to go away with my thanks and love for entering this drawing and for all the sweet well wishes on my Blog Anniversary.  I even entered our friends from England and around the world and decided to spring for the extra postage and customs if you had won.  But it appears that we have winners from the East Coast and the West Coast of the USA.

Last but not least, I hope all of you have a wonderful, WONDERFUL 2015.  I look forward to blogging with you throughout the year(s) to come!  xoxox

I am going to be MIA for a few days as I have a medical appointment coming up as well as some deadlines on a major project.  But I will come visit you just as soon as I return.

I have so enjoyed seeing what you have been up to of late, as always.

Fondly,

Mrs. Magpie (Sheila) :-)

P.S.  Briana, I would love to do lunch with you!  Soon!  Love you, Bunny Girl! xoxo

Love the photos - those duckies are so sweet. Hmmm, a quilt for a table - that would indeed be fun.

Ooh, ooh! I won! I won! And, I am Queen for the day! You have put me in total bliss. Thank you, thank you, Mrs. Magpie.

And, Happy Pink Saturday, too. I am imagining myself as one of those cute little yellow chicks. Of course, I am the one with the little teensy crown - seeing as I am Queen for the day.♥

Congrats to the winners. Those are some good prizes and there are such great colors in this post. Wendy's quilts are awesome and so are your tables. I like your casual ones the best. Not sure if I told you that in the last post or not. I like the formal ones, too, but the cute ones are my favorites.

Yeah to Beverly for winning....only the sweetest lady in the whole wide world. Thanks so much Sheila for your kind words on my husband. 2014 was a rough year, with test, test, test, hospital stays, another unexpected hospital stay, learning in home dialysis and the list goes on. But we are hoping for a terrific 2015 and for you too. Love, Lynn

When all ducks are in a row, one creates a runway and flight path that allows one to take off and be free above an often linear world.
