HELP!

What is going on with Blogger?

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.  I can't check this till later when Mr. M comes home, but I tried to check in this morning, and Blogger wouldn't let me.  It said I didn't have a profile and had to create one.  WHAT?

Then when I typed in my blog name, it said I didn't have a BLOG.

Soooooo I backed out, and my blog showed up.

Is Blogger flukey right now?

AND I have been trying to visit people while I could, and last night, I was flipped back from Joni's blog to mine, and it was just WEIRD.

I also am unable to add a link to my link list.  There is a new blog (to me) that I wanted to add.

I know I've been gone for a bit, but what on earth is going on here?

Can anyone help me???

I would truly appreciate it.

I'm afraid I might come on here and find all of my posts gone or something equally dreadful.

Is there a helpline number to blogger?

Thanks for any assistance.

XO,

Sheila

P.S.  My blog email is down, too.  So if you have any advice, please leave it here.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.  xoxoxoxox

I so wish I could help you, Sheila. Blogger changed it's format quite a bit a few months ago but you are having some serious problems. I hope you find answers soon.

I have missed you so much and I'm happy to hear that you are getting well. I loved hearing from you on my last post. Please get things resolved and get back in the game. We all love you!

I'm so sorry you're having issues, Sheila! I have no idea what might be going on. All I can think for you to do is to go to the Blogger help page and post your questions. Surely, you can find some answers there. I know how all of this makes you frazzled...it would me, too! Hang-in-there, my friend...hope all the kinks get worked out real soon! We've missed you around here!

You have been gone so long - blogger changed it's whole format - to igoogle. Maybe you have to create your new one??? Sorry I can't be of more help.

Hi girlie!! Well we all know I have been having issues with Blogger! So write them a note and then post on your blog but "link" google so they will see it. I told them that all their issues and snags and payments were making people not blog complain about Google and move to typepad. It seems to be resolved for the moment we will see what else happens. Also I see people have asked but did you update to google chrome? Google is definately taking over everything! Grace xoox

I am a TypePad user, so I can't help with Blogger questions. I do recall quite a few months ago that many were experiencing the situation you are describing, but I don't know what fix was found.

Yes, Sheila...Blogger changed everything quite a few months ago and made us all crazy...for quite a long time! I'm not sure about the problems you're having, though.

I found a lot of help here when the problems first began. Maybe you can find answers, too. And hopefully your Mr. M can help! http://blogging.nitecruzr.net/

I think blogger is still being tempermental. Perhaps it is menopausal.

Oh man.

That is a disturbing thought!

Soo good to see you here...somehow your blog is still linking into my sidebar so the name is intact at least!

Good luck!

Dear Sheila - I was sooo happy to hear from you and sad to know that you are having terrible computer problems. That's one of the most frustrating things in the world to deal with. I don't know what is happening with yours, but a while back (a few months ago I think) I couldn't access my own blog. I'm sorry to say that I can't remember how I fixed it. Then, it wouldn't let me access any of my various email accounts either. To fix that one, I had to give a cell number so they could text me a new password. That sort of ticked me off, to be honest, but I did it.

I wish I could help!!!

I am glad to see your blog face, though.

Hi! I was a bit shocked to find Blogger all strange when I came back last week. I am still trying to find my way around. Thanks so much for the good words for Luke. It has been so hard watching his parents get so much bad news last week. He is such a sweet little guy and has already been through so much.

I'm still trying to get in a blogging mood. I am slowly visiting people but not as quickly as I want to! I have missed you too!

We've all missed you! I've had something similar happen to me before. I had to log out and then log back in again. It also happens to me if I try to use a second device like my phone or Air. Blogger does have a new format, but that doesn't seem likely that it would block you out. Good luck. Blogger can be difficult to contact.

I'm so glad to see you but am heart broken to hear about your puter problems. I'm hoping it will all clear up for you. A similar thing happened to me this summer but it just straightened up on it's own. Blogger has changed everything and forced us to use their new format, which by the way, I hate! But I'm having to learn how to use it.
I think our puters have been hacked and we're having someone check them out tomorrow night. I can still get on and took off all of my pictures so if my puter crashed, I wouldn't loose my pix.
I pray all will work out for you and you get an answer.
Love you and so glad to see you!!

I agree with the others. Blogger has a new format and I suspect if you switched to the new one, everything would be fine. It's a little different, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use.

Hope this means we'll see more of you. Thanks for your comments. I sure have missed you!

I had problems with Blogger which is why I moved to WordPress. I don't know what's going on right now. Does it have to do with not switching to the new format?

I don't know what to tell you, Sheila. Blogger has been a sort of pain in the ??? for a while now. And I really resented the push to join Google+.

I agree w/everyone. Glad to see you again. As you know, I use WordPress, and I LOVE it. When Google changed their blogging format I was glad I had WP.

You asked about your Reader? I logged back on to my Google account in order to verify things since they've changed formats. If you have not added me "manually" to your Reader, I won't show up. Just insert my URL into your reader with the "add" function. I'll update my HELP page to show the latest Google set up. I wish I could help you w/the other problems.

Blogger just shut down my blog, and my email. It was a horrible few days of trying to prove to them that I was the owner of my own blog, my own business email, and everything else that was tied into it.

It's scary how much is tied into that email address.

Try googling and see if anyone else has the same problem. And try posting on the forums...Nightcruiser? is wonderfully helpful.

Hi Sheila, always good to see you pop up at the shop. Your blogging wackadoodle happens all the time. Not sure if you use more than one computer, but that's typically the problem for me. If I signed in to use my blog in one computer, when I try to blog from another computer (away from home OR at home), it will mix things up because blogger keeps track of where the last sign in came from. Oh yes, and you must be signed in properly in order to link anything too. Just sign out and sign in again from whatever computer you want to use.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for stopping in at Cranberry Morning, Sheila. Computer woes are such a pain! Last spring my hard drive crashed and I had the worst time retrieving my files from Carbonite. Shelia~It always makes me happy when you pop in. So sorry to see you're still having issues with your blog. I'm still trying to get use to the new format. I liked when I could manually enlarge mt photos to the size I wanted. Now, I really can go with one choice because the other don't fit and the photos get cut in half.

I too wished there were American Bandstand videos for release. I'm hoping someday DC production won't be so stringent and put out a AB CD collection. I think it would show tribute to Dick Clark. Well,I'm happy my family got to see me. I actually really had a hard time watching myself. I was way to critical on myself back then.

I hope you're up and running soon.

It is always good to hear from you Sheila. Are you computer.bloggers problems solved? Quite a few bloggers have moved thier blogs to Wordpress and like that blog system very much. I'm still on Blogspot--no time to change :)

I hope you are having an enjoyable Christmas season!

Thank you for stopping in at Cranberry Morning, Sheila. I am so sorry you're having Blogger issues. I understand that you're not alone. I have no idea what on earth is going on. Very distressing! I think the WWW is making her rounds.

Thanks for the drop by--singing while you work is a good idea as you have said. (I can not sing or carry a tune--yet I often will put on music while cooking etc and it does draw your heart to the Lord). I really like the idea of doing mundane things that we all have to do intentionally unto the Lord. I know I have often seen it as something I just have to get done--rather than having the joyful attitude. (will be working on it)

Hi Sheila, I loved reading how you celebrate Christmas with family and friends. From the past till now it is always nice to know what dear friends do to Celebrate the most special day of the year. I also love the Grand Floridian Hotel at Disney. They decorate in the most stunning way. When we lived in Kissimmee we always visited Disney before Christmas to see the lights, eat turkey legs and go inside the Grand Floridian before going home. We did it for years because our SIL works for Disney. Lucky us.

I would just adore it if you can ever find time to visit us here in the mountains. I mean it Sheila. We will have a home cooked meal at that long table and talk each others ears off. BIG smile here.

Wishing you happy days during the Christmas festivities and always.
Love,
Jeanne xo

Hi Sheila, You are right, Caralie and I do look alike. We have been mistaken for each other for years. I love that because she is 8 years younger than me. Smile.

I hope all is well with you and yours. I am trying to visit more in 2013. I come over and do not see a new post but this time I decided to take a chance that you will check this one. I have wondered if you have a new computer or what your status is on all the troubles you have had. I pray that it has improved.
Happy New Year.
Love you bunches and miss you too,
Jeanne xoxoxo
