On this Valentine's Day I would like to take the opportunity to wish a very Happy Valentine's Day to all of you who have made my blogging experience so special and have made me and others feel so loved. I had planned a completely different post for today, but somewhere in all of the mad confusion this week has been, it disappeared into thin air. The post was full of love and thanks for blog awards and the gifting of those to each of you, but alas, it has vanished. Hence I'm a little late with my post for today. But maybe that's meant to be. There's a scripture verse that says that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord. And they do.
Actually, His Valentine to us is the sweetest one ever, and you simply can't improve on perfection. Another blogger reminded me of this yesterday, and I'm thankful that she did. For His Valentine gift is the reason I can get up every morning and put one foot in front of the other to meet the day, and it puts the smile on my face, the spring in my step, and the joy in my heart. So in addition to wishing you all the love in my own heart, I'm wishing you all the love in His heart which is almost too wonderful to comprehend...
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Hi again! I had to pop back in to say thanks for the visit and sympathize with the "brownie feast" you and Mr. Magpie had! We went to the home of some friends, ordered take out from our favorite Mexican restaurant and picked up ice cream at Baskin Robbins. Then, as we watched old movies the four of us seriously groaned about how full we were! We loved it! I hope the rest of your weekend is great!

Thank you for this post. It says it all. I have never really like V's Day. It was not part of our cultural heritage in South Africa and it's introduction over the last ten years seems so commercially induced. But reading the very meaningful posts that my dear friends, including you, have posted, ' spreading the love' and 'spreading His love', I am very pleasantly surprised. By the way, a friend who loves to chatter, is curious and loves shiny things is just the kind of friend I love. Thank you for being my friend!
First, I love "I Can Only Imagine." My son-in-law, who is a minister sang this song accompanied by playing his guitar at my mother's funeral. You would think that hearing the song would make me feel sad but it has the opposite effect as "I Can Only Imagine." I'm sorry that you lost your original post but your post is great!
