Howdy, Partners! I just got this American Greetings card from my friend Jody, and I thought it was too cute not to share... you know how I love Jaunty and my other monkeys! I know a lot of you love sock monkeys, too, and thought you might want to look for it in a store that sells this brand of card.
Here's wishing you a wonderful day. Be sure and eat plenty of chocolate bon-bons to stay sweet... just not ALL of them! ;-)
I'm off on a trail ride for the next two days to see my friend Nancy and some other folks, and I will be making the blog rounds, too. Look forward to seeing you, too. :-)

Oh I love that card! I think it might be the chocolates if you've been indulging too much.
Oh and you have to eat chocolates for Valentine's Day you have to!
Marc and I try not to give each other too much of that stuff and try to think of other things...but then we feel like we've been cheated and we have to do the chocolates..yum!

Sorry I have been awol for awhile, I will backtrack on your posts after this.
I didn't realize that was a card at first, I thought you were having fun with your monkeys again!!! Oh please, don't talk about chocolate right now, My diet would be a complete success if it weren't for that sweet, gooey confection! I was recently caught eating the Nestle chocolate chips we have for baking! Yep! Right out of the bag!! What kind of monster have I turned in to??

We also TRY to avoid chocolate for Valentines but it doesn't seem to work. LOL
I made sock Monkeys one year for Christmas (25+years ago!)for all our our nieces and nephews. I never see the work socks any more.

And I got so tickled at reading your responses. I didn't mean to mislead you... I was playing around with a short song for this short post, and I used the "Bonanza" theme... hence, the "trail ride" comment. I wan't out riding the range -- I was right here in sunny Florida. But I did see Nancy and had a lovely time with her last night and today!
I love horses, but I haven't ridden in quite some time. I rode all the time growing up, but something tells me if I tried it now I would be in traction! LOL! I think it would put the very meaning into the term saddle sore! ;-)
It's late, and I'm falling asleep, but I plan to catch up with all of my visiting of you tomorrow. Thanks so much for your sweet messages. Loved every one!
