Second Time Around/Three or More/Tea Time Tuesday: Le Cirque Flottant

Today is 2nd Time Around Tuesday at Diane's blog, A Picture is Worth A 1,000 Words, Three or More Tuesday at Tam's blog, The Gypsy's Corner, and Tea and Friendship Tuesday at Carol's blog, Charli and Me, and I want to celebrate them all in one post if that's possible (and I think it is). And if you look at the clock, you can see that the time for posting is drawing very, very near.


I had planned a completely different post for today, and then I started thinking I would share a bargain I found yesterday at Tuesday Morning where they were having a buy-one-item-on-clearance-and-get-the-next-one-on-clearance-for-half-price-sale. It didn't take much to coax me into buying something fun and whimsical. But these items are practical, too...



And I'm a sucker for a bear, a dog, and an elephant every time...


Put them in little row boats made out of barrels (rub-a-dub-dub, three critters in three tubs!), and I'm an even bigger fan...


Then dress the bear in a little blue jacket...


And the elephant in a little red one with a blue beret...


Enlist the help of a cute little dog, dressed in a red and white striped sweater and holding a paddle...


Which gives a whole new meaning to the term "dog paddle"...


And then you throw in some French words that, loosely translated, mean: The Floating Circus and you add just a dash or two of shabbiness (because we want it to look like an antique French clock should look)...


And you end up with a fun little clock that could go in a child's room or maybe even into a room for someone who has the heart of a child and just likes to smile at silly little critters having lots of fun! And speaking of fun, mine is just about to start as it's nearing teatime at my friend Carol's [tea in the World of Blog takes place around the clock].
