Well, I flunk right off the bat because I only carry a purse by necessity. So what would be in a magpie's purse that isn't carried regularly, but by necessity???

Annie looks like she was enjoying nature. None of the professional photographers have anything on you!
I so enjoy learning more about you. While our purses may not be the windows into our souls (hey, it's early, so I can be silly), they do provide a glimpse of our personalities or at least where we shop. :)
We would make a good pair. You would never be in search of a band aid or safety pin, in my company. I carry EVERYTHING in my purse. I have been known to whip out laundry wipes when I have seen strangers spilling on themselves.

The blogger list cracked me up. Too funny. I have some receipts in my purse too. But I generally try to keep them cleared out, otherwise I would not be able to find anything else in there. Like my wallet. I love the picture of Annie there.

Debbie, LOL! You coveting Buttermilk and me coveting Matt Dillon! I liked Kitty's cool, and she had her own business and wore feathers in her hair. Big Plus, don't you know! I was too dumb to realize what it was she did, but she looked like she was having a pretty good time doing it and had a good looking beau to match! She was "dating" the most respectable man in town. ;-)
Muse, you know something? We could institute the buddy system and jump in tandem! LOL! Can you see that??? M & M, Muse and Magpie. More likely a Muse and Magpie fritter! LOL!
Rachael, my areas of volunteer interest right now includes the elderly. When I was younger, I was very involved in historic preservation. Old houses... old people, both kind of rickety and worthy of love. ;-)
Janie, in my dreams I used to always fly, but it was more of a thing where I would run, bound off and fly like you're swimming. It was SO much fun! And can you imagine being able to dip and soar! Yep, fun it would be!
Lorrie, you wouldn't believe what Annie has been up to, but I'm going to leave that for another post! And LOL! about your receipts, too! That's what my purse is... a receipt repository. ;-)

I had to do that the other day because I didn't have a purse to "match" my outfit, and a friend carried my wallet, keys, and lipstick (essentials). Then after the luncheon, I had to track her down at home because she drove off with them! A little side hazard (sp) of geing purseless and relying on the kindness of strangers or friends. :-)
Linnea, that sounds like a plan! LOL! One must always be able to get to one's wallet when shiny objects are at hand! ;-)
Sally, now what fun is it if I can't teach Miss Kitty's profession??? LOL! When I was a wee magpie and knee=high to a grasshopper, I didn't even know she had THAT profession because I thought she just hung around looking pretty for Matt and that the men who frequented her bar liked to dance with the girls like young people did at parties... sor of like cotillion, you know! ;-) LOL!

Apri, thanks so much! And methinks the reason I haven't gone skydiving to date is that same fear radiates from my mind. I almost did it about ten years ago on a dare, but I opted out after a friend said her brother did and every joint in his body hurt afterward! LOL! Still, a girl can dream...

Jane, believe it or not, it's not much warmer here... in the 50's! That is raw cold for us here. We who go to the grocery store in flip flops have been forced to add socks to the ensemble. You ought to see Floridians in cold, seriously. They are a sight to behold! LOL!
Beth, and that is why you are a woman after my own magpie heart! I'm going to sail over to the Muse's blogs and all of yours, too, when I get back this afternoon. Right now, I am getting ready to blast off with a friend on a volunteer project where we will be asking businesses for shiny objects. Ms. Tee -- Annie is luxuriating in a bush she found on her first Florida outing. This was shortly after the leapt from her packing crate after her long ride on the mail truck from Alabama to Florida! She found some vines that were color-coordinated. ;-)
Pat -- So glad you found a pic to use. I had a pretty good idea you'd have something wonderful! Can't wait to see your pic and those of the lake, too! :-)
Pat -- I have no idea why I've been fascinated with sky-diving, but I have been for years. LOL! I would probably be too scared to actually jump... though it would be a thrill, too! LOL!

Dot, LOL! I know. Weird. I think it got started because we used to play "Gunsmoke" when I was little because we had horses and loved Westerns. Often my cousin Barry (Matt) would bring his friend Doug (Chester) out to ride, and we would play. When it was Barry and I alone, we'd play Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. But with three of us, we had to each have a character part. I liked Kitty pretty well because she was smart and owned her own business. Now, granted it was a saloon, but I had done the can can in a dance recital and just thought the girls danced for a living! LOL! :-)

Hello Sheila, I am sorry I haven't been visiting. Out daughter and family are here and my cousin Bob from MI too. We have been running the roads and finding time to visit has been little to none. sigh.
